In a busy school week, ending on a Friday with a time of adoration allows the children to calm themselves and be still with Jesus. They have the opportunity to be more aware of the living presence of Jesus in the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist; they learn how to adore him with reverence and silence. They can really experience an intimacy with Jesus not possible when we are in the classroom. This is why we find it fits beautifully into our Religious Education Programme as a benefit and much needed complement to Catechism classes.
